Crystal Edna Hopkins is a true southern belle to the core. She was born and raised in a small town in South Georgia called Jesup. Growing up in a small town with so much love and traditional values helped mold her into the person she is today. A tomboy at heart, when she was younger she never had an interest in Barbie dolls or dresses. To find Crystal, you would have to check the local softball field or the karate studio. She was always the only girl playing with the guys on the playground. Even though she had many athletic interests, one talent she found so dear to her heart was singing.

Every night Crystal’s dad would play his old player piano by ear and she would sing along to Aretha Franklin, Dolly Parton, and the old red-backed hymnal. The spirit of country music has been in her DNA from childhood. As Crystal grew older, she finally mustered up enough courage to sing in her church. From that moment on, everyone knew that God had blessed her with a gift, and being on stage was a part of her future. Her love for music has been evident her whole life.

With a family that have always encouraged her to chase her dreams and aspirations, Crystal’s support system is very strong. She still treasures the upbringing that has helped her keep her feet on the ground while her life has evolved.

Crystal is currently working on her debut album. She is very excited about this debut and appreciates all the support from her fans. Her commitment to her incredible goals as an artist, has made Crystal synonymous with all that is great in music today. With this decision to advance her music career, she takes both her life and her art to the next level.

Crystal’s recent accomplishments include recently playing the love interest of Tyler Hubbard from Fl Ga Line in the “Round Here” music video, which hit number 1 on the the Country Music Charts. She also was in the Lazarus Labs Phentramin D Commercial and sang the national anthem at Phillips Arena for the Atlanta Hawks, as well as Turner Field for the Atlanta Braves. She also trained with Jan Smith at Jan Smith studios for a year and was featured in a spread in Get Fit Magazine. In 2012, Crystal was named one of Atlanta’s 50 most beautiful people in Jezebel Magazine.
